Consultation & Assessment
Your Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist is trained to understand the root imbalances and to look at the patient as a whole, considering lifestyle, activities, diet, stressful life events and mind-body constitution to heal imbalances at their roots. Restoring and maintaining balance are the ultimate goals. When the body and mind are in harmony, normal physiological processes are restored and healing takes place.
Tthe first step is filling a health/lifestyle questionnaire to assess your unique constitution (Prakruti) and the current imbalances (vikruti) followed by a 90 min. visit to complete your health history with tongue diagnosis, abdominal examination and an advanced ayurvedic pulse reading. An analysis of the information and formulation of a specific treatment program is performed. Then a follow-up visit (45 min.) is scheduled to share the results of the ayurvedic assessment and to recommend the personal ayurvedic treatment program toward optimal health and emotional wellness.
Follow-up visits consist of counseling and coaching on lifestyle, diet and herbs, and/or applying the recommended specific therapies to rebalance the imbalances, to live in harmony with the seasonal changes and to improve & sustain health and wellbeing. Consultation lasts 60-75 min or longer for some therapies.
